I can't pinpoint just one thing I enjoyed about this spot. A classic looking diner with homestyle food offerings. Service was good, sandwiches were amazing, the side broccoli salad is strongly recommended and also the pie! Milkshake to me was a bit more milky/liquid then I would like them to be. A wonderful experience and would come back here.
Arrived here on the 3rd for lunch. Beautiful place. Service was very very good. Food was out of this world. Ordered the cauliflower soup and the beet salad. Never had such a delicious beet salad in my life. Ended with mint chocolate chip ice cream Will definitely visit again

This was the first time we had been to this establishment. It opens at 10 AM which is a nice time to open. As soon as we walked in the experience started. Great friendly and easy going staff, as well as the juke boxes at each table which were awesome! The food was incredible and the service was absolutely classy! It's like hopping into a time machine and having a classic blast from the past! Prices are reasonable, and we highly recommend this great establishment!!
While searching for a lunch spot, we stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. The roads leading here and the surrounding vibes were truly beautiful. A great restaurant can turn an ordinary dish into something extraordinary, and this place does just that. Primarily a sandwich and soup spot, I was initially skeptical. However, after tasting their sandwich and potato soup, I'm a convert. The sandwich was tasty and fresh, and the potato soup is to die for. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. We finished with milkshakes, and I highly recommend their Belgian chocolate milkshake. This place is a hidden gem, at least to me, just a short distance from Calgary. We will definitely return for a nice little getaway. Inside, it feels like you've been transported years back, reminiscent of 'Pop Tates' from Archie's. It's comforting, welcoming, and soulful. I usually struggle to find a place without flaws, but I can't think of any here. Love it!
Such a cute place! The staff are lovely, decor is great, food is generously portioned and reasonably priced. We only got a dessert but if we're in the area we'll definitely come back for more pie and one of their sandwiches, they looked great and crammed full of filling. HIGHLY recommend stopping by if you're within a few miles!
We stopped by Evelyn’s for lunch after seeing very good reviews online. The weather was fine but we chose to dine inside and were seated quickly. The staff all were friendly, attentive and professional. Our soup and sandwich lunches were delicious. Fresh grain bread. Wonderful homemade soups. We saved room for ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in this quirky, retro cafe and would highly recommend.
The Who Knew sandwich was beyond delicious. I forgot to take a picture it looked so delicious. (Homemade multi-grains bread, apple, brie, jam, smoked turkey, monterey jack, lettuce) and the lavendar lemonade was wonderful. My mom had the Brid sandwich and she said it was also delicious. Staff was so friendly, efficient and sweet with my little guy. Thank you for a great lunch.
